The Sound Map of the Soul

“The Sound Map of the Soul” – Concert for cello and harp at the Anglican Church Bucharest

In this concert we will explore the Sound Map of the Soul. Diving into the harmoniously merging sounds of the cello and the harp, we will be crossing whole landscapes and cultures, overcoming the limits and frontiers of time and space and discovering how people used to express their feelings and experiences through Music. This is a homage to the universal nature of music, to it´s spiritual and eternal language that nurtures and transforms the Soul.

We will open the concert with Händel´s “Ombra mai fu” and Couperin´s “Pieces en concert”, continuing with Fauré´s “Apres un reve” and Granados´ ´”Danse oriental”, and reaching to Poulenc´s “Serenade”, F. Bridge´s “Meditation”´ and T. Dumitrescu´s “Serenada romana”.

We are looking forward to sharing this Journey of the Sound Map of the Soul with you!
