Miruna Nagy

As a child I was sensing and loving Beauty and the way my Soul would resonate when I was perceiving it. When I was 8 I started to play the harp and write stories tracing this Beauty through my words and sounds.

The harp became my passion and took me on a journey to three countries – Romania, Germany and France. During many years of studies with renowned teachers I accumulated experience taking part in several competitions and playing on the stages of the world. What seemed to become an artistic career didn ´t happen: although I had attained a high level as harpist I realized how conditioned I was by my will and ambition and by the belief that “I was not enough.” After an intense inner struggle I chose to give music up and to start to write again.

In Berlin I studied screenplay writing and my perception started to change: I could see again the magic of life and the amazing stories that it has to offer. Step by step, teaching the harp, I was weaving the word with the sound in my work with children, and I played the harp again.

2009 I stepped together with Radu into the Medicine Wheel in Romania. Guided by Chris Waters we learned to bring balance to our life and harmony and stability to our relationship. The simple and poetic practices of this Medicine, on the earth, at the fire, allowed me to reconnect with Nature, to learn to listen and to feel that Life is Abundance, and that we live in a Magic Garden. I regained my trust and found a higher sense – being in service.

Since 2015 we teach together the Medicine Wheel, we´ve been on initiatic journeys to Peru where we have met the Q´ero shamans who have become our mentors and friends. We are working together since then, organizing and teaching with them the Munay ki and other courses in Romania.

In 2018 I made my degree as sound therapist with Uschi Laar at the “Institute for Harp and Healing through Music” in Munich. I discovered the force of the sound to cleanse and expand the energetic field, rising the vibration and opening communication channels with other worlds. In my work together the shamanic healing tools with the sounds of the harp, drum, rattle, koshi and mantras.

Besides the pedagogic and artistic work with children I teach the ICU method – Inspiring Children Universally, through which they learn to write and read, to draw and play with a blindfold on. Their inner Light gets activated and they gain trust, focus and the feeling of connection with their Higher Self.

It is my joy and honor to inspire people to find the Beauty within, letting go of what stops them and creating the life they dream of, in community.

I have created several shows for children and adults, based on stories written by me – like “The Phantom of the Blue Harp”, “Journey into Infinty”, or based on ancient Sufi tales like the “Birds´Perspectives” and the “Tales of the 7 Princesses” by Nizami.

In 2023 I have held the “Medicine Wheel for Children” in Romania, starting a project of spiritual and artistic development for Children.

Together with Radu, we have created the audiobook “The Story of Arthur, the Curious Snowflake”, based on the story written by Radu and on the original music composed by both of us, which will appear this year at the Publishing House For You.
